Intern Spotlight: Ellie Young

✨Intern Spotlight ✨

My name is Ellie Young, and I am an intern at Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County this semester. I am a senior at Lampeter-Strasburg High School and am planning to pursue a major in Architecture and/or Communications in college.

My other passions include dancing competitively on LEDC at Willow Street Dance Steps, playing the violin, volunteering with the non-profit organization Off the Streets as a Youth Ambassador, and creating the projects for my three Girl Scout Awards (Bronze, Silver, and the in-progress Gold).

Working with the archived documents here at HPT is providing me with numerous career-based skills and exposure to my future field!
