Addvent Lancaster Presents “Art of Adventure” at Ellicott House on May 3
Lancaster, PA – The Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County is thrilled to partner with Addvent Lancaster for an enchanting evening of art and exploration during Downtown Lancaster’s First Friday. This event will take place at the Sehner-Ellicott-Von Hess House on Gallery Row, located at 123 N Prince Street, from 5 to 8 pm.
Addvent Lancaster will transform the historic space into a vibrant art hub, showcasing the works of their talented local artists. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to view and purchase a variety of items, including posters, art prints, cards, and an array of new products, all celebrating the rich culture and history of Lancaster County.
The evening will also feature delightful refreshments and live performances in the Garden. We are excited to host the “Keystone Italian Project,” who will offer Italian wine and cocktails. Proceeds from the beverage sales will benefit the annual L’Italia Festival in Lititz, PA, further fostering cultural festivities within our community.
In addition to the art exhibition, Adam Zurn from Uncharted Lancaster will introduce a special First Friday Mini-Adventure (click here to get a jump start on the adventure), inviting guests to explore the charms of downtown Lancaster. Participants will have the chance to win fantastic prizes, including a 1.25″ soft enamel pin, a 3″ embroidered patch, or a 1.18″ metal replica Spanish Doubloon.
If you are unable to join us on Friday, we invite you to visit during Lancaster’s Spring Art Walk on Saturday and Sunday. The exhibition will continue throughout the weekend or as long as supplies last.
