Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County hosts local artist Lisa Troupe for June First Friday event
We are delighted to announce Lisa Troupe as our featured local artist for June 2024. This exhibit will take place on Friday, June 7, from 10 AM to 8 PM, with a special reception from 5 PM to 8 PM, and on Saturday, June 8, from 10 AM to 4 PM. The event will be held at the historic Sehner-Ellicott-Von Hess House, located at 123 N Prince Street in Downtown Lancaster on Gallery Row.
Lisa Troupe, a celebrated local artist, shared her excitement about this event:
After almost 20 years since Troupe & Company Fine Art Gallery, I am thrilled to announce a return to my creative roots and the pursuit of my passion for art! Completing a recent painting commission sparked a wave of inspiration, reminding me of the meditative creativity that had been missing from my life.
As I look forward to retirement, my husband, is building a new, larger studio space for me. This new studio will provide the room I need to fully immerse myself in the art-making process, allowing my creative juices to flow more freely and devote more time to artistic endeavors.
I will be exhibiting my recent landscape paintings, along with a few surprises at the beautiful Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster.
I am excited to share this journey with you and showcase the works born from this renewed passion.
Join us at the Sehner-Ellicott-Von Hess House for an unforgettable experience celebrating local art and heritage. Don’t miss the opportunity to meet Lisa Troupe, view her stunning new works, and participate in this inspiring artistic event.
