Lisa Troupe draws inspiration from Lancaster County’s rolling farmlands, using expressive brushstrokes and rich, vibrant colors to capture the life and movement of these panoramic landscapes. Her work goes beyond traditional representations, with color, texture, and movement playing essential roles in conveying energy and emotion. Through a unique style that includes a deliberate distortion of perspective, Lisa creates depth and dimension, allowing her pieces to resonate on a more emotional level.

As Lisa explains, “My choice to paint landscapes isn’t about replicating reality; it’s about capturing the essence and movement of a place.” Visitors to this exhibition are invited to experience Lancaster’s landscapes in a way that reaches beyond the visual to evoke the heart of the region.
