Dr. Christina McSherry brings both scholarly insight and a deep commitment to community engagement. At Historic Rock Ford, she leads museum administration, stewards interpretive transformation, and fosters public dialogue around memorialization, commemoration, and the legacies of enslavement in Pennsylvania. With this rich background, Dr. McSherry offers a nuanced and empathetic voice in reexamining Lancaster’s history.

During her presentation, Dr. McSherry will share insights from her ongoing work interpreting the history of enslavement at Historic Rock Ford.
