North Duke Street Historic Tour with Gregory Scott, FAIA

The Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County is pleased to announce this year’s schedule for the popular Historic Walking Tours led by Gregory Scott, FAIA. We are also pleased to say that the price per tour remains the same as last year – $35/members and $45/non-members.

Embark on a two-hour walking tour of Lancaster’s famed North Duke Street corridor of mansions and churches designed by C. Emlen Urban. Once considered the “address to see and be seen,” area of the Lancaster City was the playground for the wealthy to live, worship and raise a family. The political and financial influence of these residents even led to the construction of their own school, known as the Lemon Street School.
